INCA HEALTH proudly introduces our Red Quinoa. Red Quinoa has more excellent reserves of protein than many other grains and cereals. It contains the amino acid lysine, making it more complete. The World Health Organization has indicated that the quality protein of quinoa is equivalent to milk. Quinoa offers more iron than other grains and contains high levels of potassium and riboflavin, as well as other B complex vitamins, niacin and thiamine. It is also a good source of magnesium, zinc, copper and manganese, and contains some folic acid.
Quinoa is delicious and extremely versatile because it can be used in lieu of any other grain, including rice, to make everything from appetizers to desserts. It may even be a substitute in your favorite recipe for rice pudding.
Quinoa Red Chenopodium quinoa is the rare heirloom pasankalla variety. This delicately flavored red quinoa is sweeter than our quinoa white.
